There is a coat check service available for € 2. It is not allowed to enter the exhibition with: food, drinks, baby stroller, large backpacks, suitcases, motorcycle helmets, bicycles, skateboards or any other kind of transport with wheels.


Harry Potter™: The Exhibition is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 7pm.

Last entry will be one hour before closing of the Exhibition.
These schedules may be modified by bank holidays or holiday periods.


There is no minimum age to visit the exhibition. Children aged 3 and under go free but you must ask for a free ticket at the box office or information desk. Children up to the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.


Access to the exhibition with baby strollers is not allowed. These can be left at the coat check with no cost.


Would like to purchase a nice souvenir to take home? At the exit of the exhibition you will find a merchandise shop with a wide range of Harry Potter merchandise items.


To ensure a pleasant atmosphere for all visitors, the admission is divided in quarter an hour time slots. It is necessary to access the exhibition at the chosen time and marked on your ticket. A visit takes approximately 1 hour, but of course you can stay as long as you would like. Accidentally missed your time slot? In that case we’ll try to let you enter at a later time slot, but only under the condition that the capacity is sufficient, so be on time!

  • Railway RE 7 and RB 33 to train station “Medienstadt” and approx. 5 Min. walking distance

By car

Take Highway A115, use exit “Potsdam-Babelsberg“and follow the “Nuthe-Schnellstraße (Freeway)” in the direction of “Potsdam Zentrum”. Take the exit “Medienstadt” and follow the signs to “Filmpark Babelsberg“. Parking lot P1 – accessible through Großbeerenstraße, coins for exiting the parking lot can be purchased at the box office in front of the exhibition. Parking Fee: 4,00 Euro/per day

It is permitted to take photos for personal and non-commercial use. But make sure to disable your flash! Filming is not permitted.

The whole area of the exhibition is accessible to people with disabilities. Accompanying persons of people with a B mark in their severely disabled ID card are admitted free of charge. The ticket for the accompanying person will be distributed at the box office in front of the exhibition.


It is not allowed to bring food and drinks into the exhibition.


Unfortunately dogs and other animals are not allowed in the exhibition.


No masks, facial coverings, veils, long trains, live animals, swords or weaponry are permitted. Any home-crafted wands must be rounded on either end and must be appropriate in nature.
